As many of you know early this morning we had a utility power issue at our datacenter, typically what happens during a failure is the UPS battery backup system takes the load which did occur, however the power failure happened quickly (Utility power turned off, then back on, UPS kicked off, Utility power back off, and after this second iteration the UPS system had a split second of off time between failure and battery backup). This caused our servers to power cycle. Most of our servers did come back on, but during any power failure we triage every server to make sure no issues are present, while most did not have any issues a few did in which case we had to go hands on with the servers to check data integrity and stability.
This is a VERY uncommon incident but the team responded as trained and executed our emergency failure plan successfully. We understand many customers were effected and are now cleaning up any remaining tickets. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience and understand your websites/email are mission critical.
We thank you for your patience in the matter and are not seeing any issues currently, if you are still experiencing issues please do submit a ticket. ~Management
